Again with Leif ( sorry/not a bit):  I might or might not have declared war on Kristy McNichol when my Leif starred on Family as her love interest.  Sad, since I'd really appreciated the 'Buddy' character as she was one of the fee teen females who, like me, was much more tomboy than girlie and that was really under represented in television at the time.

Looking back, I realize I was attracted to jerks even in my fantasy land.

I liked Buddy and Quinn Cummings was adoreable and the reason Quinn was on my list for girls names when I was pregnant...but I didn't have the attention span for family.  So boring.  I watched for people, but couldn't tell you one thing plot wise.

I remember finding Gary creepy, but for the life of me I don't remember why.

And Meredith Baxter-Birney was ridiculously beautiful as a young woman, but is one of the most annoying actresses to grace my tv.  She kicked ass in the Betty Broderick story and that's the only time I thought she was a good actress.  Even playing Elyse Keaton she seems really mean under the script...Betty let her run with the mean.

How mad am I that crazy ass IMO child abusing Lisa Whelchel still looks fabulous ...even on Survivor with no makeup.

I am NOT happy about that - she should be punished with ugly on the outside.

As a kid if I had a magic wand and could have looked like anyone it would have been her.  Or Tatum O'Neal...but I had a MAD crush on Griffin O'Neal (Hadley's Rebellion?) so wanted to be like his sister was weird.

And then you grow up and realize how messed up the whole O'Neal clan is.

I knew he was messed up then.  I had the people mag for ages which talked about his rehab and how his dad knocked his tooth out.

I had a real thing for bad boys who were misunderstood and just needed someone to love them.

Although I got a great line from him on one of those E specials on the family...

"it's made me the emotional green beret I am today."

one of my cats is named Griffin because my ex vetoed it for youngest boy.  He knew my deep and abiding love and I wasn't allowed to have a namesake.

Jinger and Jeremy attended a screening of Candace Cameron's movie that's coming out next Friday. It's called Unsung Hero.

No surprise there. 7 out of the 8 Morton sons have a honeymoon baby. It’s almost creepy.

ETA: I’m not saying they all got pregnant on the honeymoon trip. Just that they all got pregnant within a month of their marriage. Their wives all had babies 9-10 months after the wedding.

When sexually active, it's always a possibility.

As for c-sections, I don't have very many friends who big families (those who do have lots of kids have had vaginal births), but I know when my mom's friend was having babies in the late 80's/early 90's, her doctor was unimpressed when she got pregnant for the fifth time because he said anything past three sections was dangerous. Whether or not that's true or just his opinion, I'm unsure, but it makes sense to me. You're cutting through a lot of tissue and layers, and things weaken with each delivery.

my best friend has 5 kids and the last were twins and she delivered them all naturally.
