When trouble gets in the way of the news...

So in all the attention to the troubles I neglected to keep everyone abreast of what was really important yesterday:

  • National Awkward Moments Day
  •
    Spoiler

Never a bad time re-run awkward seal potato

Doesnt this llama look just like David Cassidy?  You know, back in the day...

  •
  • National Lacy Oatmeal Cookie Day
  • Spoiler

  • National Sloppy Joe Day (which should be called National thing I like but most people make wrong day.  Most people forget the sweet relish and that's just a tragedy all the way around.)
  • Spoiler

And because I have no segue for this coming up today and I need to share...here's a kitten hugging s potato.

Strange, yesterday was full of awkward moments... Now this might explain it...

As for the kitty, as @Caszandra said :)

Slight confusion here - fleecy jumpers are known (or were in my childhood) as sloppy joes!

Thanks @HerNameIsBuffy , I enjoy your commentaries :)

Braggie always thinks so highly of herself that she won’t recognize if she failed to debate well on the podcast. She won’t recognize if she comes off smug or holier than though. She will just say it’s a win for Christianity and go on with her overprivileged life. Someone else will have to listen because I don’t think I can. I might roll my eyes clean out of my head.

That makes 5 new Mortons in 2024, by my count, and the year is young...

Does anyone know if Rachel had her baby? Kressant posted an IG story recently with a baby, but didn't say whose.

Pretty sure it was the friends baby. She had posted about taking stuff to her.

Also "you weren't ready to have that baby" has a much more awful failure state than "you weren't ready to start a garden". Plants dying from dehydration are kind of sad but it's nothing compared to having your baby die of sepsis because you didn't have the attention span to check and change their diaper regularly.

I would think having already experienced a uterine rupture, and IIRC this was with Freddy and about 3 weeks before his due date, Jill is in a higher than average risk for untoward events and likely is on a very individualized OBGYN plan. Navigating a pregnancy and safe birth after having had a previous uterine rupture and never having had a vaginal delivery has to make Jill’s care quite unique. I hope she utilizes high risk maternal/fetal practitioners.

Everyone is different and it’s her choice of course, but for me only the very crunchy and fundie would even consider a vbac after her horror births.
It’s so sad that her only chance so far for a natural birth has been her angel baby girl.
But for  me, if I was Jill any full term babe would be c section signed up on conception.
