It's nothing, stop asking...

Every so often I get this pain in my outer right wrist...yes, it's a repetitive injury from swiping and I'm aware of how pathetic that is.

It only hurts when I move it a certain way so I learned wearing a wrist brace makes it heal faster since it keeps me from moving that way.

So I'm wearing one because Walgreens didn't have one of these:

This should be the biggest "so what?" ever...so why do people keep asking about it and diagnosing me with carpel tunnel?

This is why when I see people wearing stuff like this, or bandages, I never ask what happened.  People who are dying to talk about their injuries don't need any prompting, trust me on this, so I assume people who aren't bringing it up are sick of explaining.

Worked with a guy once who broke his leg doing laundry and mentioned to me how much he appreciated it that I was one of the few people who didn't ask how it happened as he's had to tell the long and involved story so many times.

Kind of his fault for being honest.  You tell people you break your leg doing laundry and even apathetic people like me want the details because it sounds funny.  Skiing, dumbass.  No one wants to hear details of that.

Worse, it is an injury that isn't really an injury.  I get tendinitis in my wrist.  I keep a neoprene wrist band in my desk drawer in case I get aches at work.  When I wear it, yup 'oh do you have carpel tunnel?'  'what did you do?'  (breathed).  I typically wear a wrist brace at night when I sleep because I discovered that I twist my hand all weird and that seems to cause the pain.  (and the cat won't sleep around my wrist as is pictured above.  She is however adept at laying on the owie region in my hip/butt area.  Nothing like applied kitty heat).

My sympathies at dealing with nosy questions today.

Yep...so annoying. With my RA, my joints obviously hurt a lot. I've found wearing braces when it gets back seems to help a bit. So at any given time I could be wearing braces on my ankles, wrists, elbows, knees. People look at me weird and a few people have asked "what I did." It's annoying because I'd rather not have to educate everyone on what RA is and how it's not the same thing as osteoarthritis.

My mom had RA and she felt the same way.

3 are married to Helferichs and 2 are married to Bowers.  If that doesn't scream arranged, I don't know what does.

So it seems from instagram that she is in NYC filming for a special podcast. Anyone know what that is?

She was debating parenting with a secular psychologist. She prepped for months, not because she needed it, oh no. She prepped so she could be drenched in scripture. She sounds so stupid. Part of me wants to listen but I can't stand her voice.

Abbie gets tons of messages from panicked young moms who think they aren't doing things right. Maybe it's because shitty people like Abbie are always telling parents what to do. She has no clue whatsoever that she's a part of the problem.

God, her smug face is insufferable.

      Spoiler
