It's nothing, stop asking...
Every so often I get this pain in my outer right wrist...yes, it's a repetitive injury from swiping and I'm aware of how pathetic that is.
It only hurts when I move it a certain way so I learned wearing a wrist brace makes it heal faster since it keeps me from moving that way.
So I'm wearing one because Walgreens didn't have one of these:
This should be the biggest "so what?" ever...so why do people keep asking about it and diagnosing me with carpel tunnel?
This is why when I see people wearing stuff like this, or bandages, I never ask what happened. People who are dying to talk about their injuries don't need any prompting, trust me on this, so I assume people who aren't bringing it up are sick of explaining.
Worked with a guy once who broke his leg doing laundry and mentioned to me how much he appreciated it that I was one of the few people who didn't ask how it happened as he's had to tell the long and involved story so many times.
Kind of his fault for being honest. You tell people you break your leg doing laundry and even apathetic people like me want the details because it sounds funny. Skiing, dumbass. No one wants to hear details of that.
