I did the eye weeks ago, and it took me ages to do the background out of pure laziness. I've discovered that some backgrounds can be boring, and that makes it take way longer to do. And makes me pay less attention to do a good job with coloring (strokes, filling out color, etc). This is from the Harry Potter: magical creatures coloring book. I like this one.   It's hard to decide what to do with backgrounds on pages like this.  I think you can go either way (color or leave blank) and they look just fine.   Backgrounds can be mind-numbing, but I like what you did with this one.

I got this book a few days ago.  We were at Michael's and they finally had Secret Garden in stock so I grabbed that one.   I have most of the other ones Michael's carries (that I want anyway), but I saw the lone binding of one that didn't look familiar, so asked my husband to look and see what it was.   I may or may not have let out a little squeal when it was the HP Creatures book ;)   I snapped that one right up as it was the only copy.

      Bontragers/Bowers/Helferichs 13: In the Middle of Jesus’ First Relationship

      3 are married to Helferichs and 2 are married to Bowers.  If that doesn't scream arranged, I don't know what does.

      She was debating parenting with a secular psychologist. She prepped for months, not because she needed it, oh no. She prepped so she could be drenched in scripture. She sounds so stupid. Part of me wants to listen but I can't stand her voice.

      Abbie gets tons of messages from panicked young moms who think they aren't doing things right. Maybe it's because shitty people like Abbie are always telling parents what to do. She has no clue whatsoever that she's a part of the problem. 

      God, her smug face is insufferable.
