My dad used to listen to Car Talk all the time. It seemed like when I was growing up, Click and Clack were always on in the background. It really is the end of an era.

I actually gasped out loud when I heard it announced over the radio. Those guys were like MIT-educated, blue-collar, Massachusetts versions of my guy cousins, and they felt like family. I am now in search of podcasts.

Listening to Car Talk is like listening to my husband's uncle who runs a garage in the Boston area. I learned to be really careful about listening when I was actually driving, though. I'd laugh so hard I could barely drive straight.
