She is a false prophet. Payday someday.

Oh I spied a little spat on Facebook. Lori posted something about not pulling dandelions because they are the first spring food for bees, and Ken responded: "This sounds like a Progressive's comment... There are two hundred flowers just in our yard for the bees, and now we are not to pull the weeds? I had not heard the bees were going hungry, but my guess is that if everyone would pull their dandelions from their chemically sprayed yards it could help save the bee population."

First off, "a Progressive"? Is that like a Communist? How I wish one of their sons or daughters had married "A Progressive"! Or better yet, became one.

Also, you must be living under a rock to not know that bees are in trouble in America. I have no clue if this post by Lori contains correct information, but Ken shows he's utterly disconnected from anything other than squirreling away as much money as possible. He has no soul and no values other than greed & misogyny.

And man, those bees better not be freeloading in Kenny Boy's yard. Who gets mad at bees? "And now we are not to pull the weeds?" Yeah, those lousy greedy honey bees demanding things left and right ...

The man is an asswipe.

Today at work there were honey bees all over the dandelions. What an ass. Where is that anyway?

Y’know, I just now remembered one of the teens asking us last year to leave the dandelions for the bees instead of digging their roots out, so it’s not a new thought.

Do you mean where do they live? Somewhere in California. I forget where.

From todays blog post:

"What does prophesy mean? We are given the answer in 1 Corinthian 14:3: “But he that prophesies speaks unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.”"

It clearly says "he" and "unto men". Lori takes the bible literally and it says nothing in that quote about a woman prophesying.

Right, if she reads "mankind" as meaning only men and not humans. Then "unto men" should literally mean only men too. Tee hee.

Doesn't sound to ME as if Adam took the blame, sounds to me as if Adam was passing that blame right along to Eve. Says so right there in the KJV.

It sounds to me like Adam is actually trying to throw God under the bus, too: "You gave her to me God, so it isn't my fault." You know, he was disagreeing with God. :)

Just like how Lori is trying to throw the holy spirit under the bus by saying its the spirit who is judging you, not me.

Okay, this post is where she "outs" this woman, an acquaIntance, because the woman reveals that her daughter works online making bathing suits.  Lori asks for the link, but the woman says "no, I don't think you would be interested." (wow, she got Lori pegged really fast!).

Lori proceeds to rip this woman apart in this post.   when the woman tells her that she is a feminist, Lori says to her "do you want to be a man? .  When does anyone speak like that to anyone?)   .  She then grills the poor woman saying does your daughter know that these suits do to men?  (something is very wrong with talking like that to people).

Here is what Lori concludes about her interaction with this woman:

"The fact that this woman knew I wouldn't like to see her daughter's website means that she knows her daughter's bathing suits are below my standards. I am glad that she realizes that I have higher standards than most in our culture"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Recently she wrote this long rant about growing up in a filthy home, her anger at the schools she was sent to , the sleep overs ... everything her parents did was put on her Facebook page for all to see (this is like in the last month) and her Mom is dying of cancer.  What the fuck is wrong with her.  Pardon the language, but the woman is sickening.  She never misses an opportunity to be confrontational and nasty and then she says she has a gentle and meek spirit.  My Ass!

Is this commenter suggesting that Barbra Bush's mother had an extramarital affair? Because Barbra Bush's parents were Marvin Pierce and Pauline Robinson.

ETA: A cursory glance at Wikipedia (yeah, yeah, I know) shows that at the time Barbara was conceived, Aleister Crowley was galivanting between Tunisia and France.

Funny this whole NWO/Bush thing came up. I've been listening to the podcast "Conspiracy Theories" on the parcast network. I was listening to Part 2 of their Illuminati episode and it was all about the NWO and how the Bushes, Kennedy's, and Bey and Jay-Z are ushering in the apocalypse.

Also, my therapist asked that I stop reading Lori - I shit you not. But alas, slow day at work just sucks me back in.

Welp. Apparently this is a real rumour. I just googled, as you do, and found a lot of dodgy sites discussing this. I'm almost afraid to post a link here, but I'll be brave. As Fox News would say, 'we report, you decide.' :laughing-rolling:

http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2006/04/george-w-bush-barbara-bush-and.html

It's dated April 1, 2006, which tells me it's nothing more than an elaborate joke, but you know how these things spread on the Internet and become 'truth.' At least one of Lori's readers believes it's true, at any rate! :pb_lol:

I  am seeing a lot of inconsistencies.  I read in one place where she said she had used a 12" leather strap that didnt hurt, on  yet another site where she said it stung like heck, and NOW the strap is an 18" strap.  So are you lying Lori.  18" ... before the age of 5?  Whatever?   Either way, this is beyond sick.  I feel sick to my stomach and cannot read this anymore.

Any belief system (if this is backed by churches) that encourages harming little children or wives being nothing more than the property of men, is evil.  This is not following Christ.  All we need do is read "The Sermon On the Mount".  No.  No.  This is no more than cult.

What @jerkit just said.  The inconsistencies started early, and have just gotten worse and worse as time's gone on. :?

The inconsistencies and the meanness have become much worse over the past couple years, and during recent weeks she has become even more defensive. I've wondered if she has a new health issue that is causing her problems, or if she has having more and more people reach out to tell her she is getting out of control.

Wow. This sounds... delusional. What might have been called megalomania. I don’t know if that term is still in use.

She is living in her own little world, where she is queen. She must be just about impossible to live with or interact with in real life.

Perhaps in Lori's corner of the world, but the working class wore what the could afford.

I remember hearing from people who grew up during the Great Depression how there were children wearing clothing sewn out of sacks (like for potatoes or flour), men wearing ladies' shoes because it was free/cheaper. Plus, ideas of what "masculine" and "feminine" clothing are changes over time. When my grandparents were young, it would've been scandalous to many people for a woman to wear trousers, even nice ones that we would consider formal/office wear today. Not that far back in history, most people would only have one or two outfits and if there were photos they probably didn't all resemble the nostalgic, tailored depictions of "when women were women and men were men" that some people idealize.

I definitely remember reading some conspiracy-ish site like 10+ years ago with that rumor. Lots of weird assertions about various political and other leaders out there online. Just remember if you decide to go down that sort of rabbit hole to bring some rescue ferrets! :ferret:

Well, this afternoon's ink waster is all about living within your means...again. You know the drill: get rid of the TV and cable, dump your cell phone, "no Saran wrap, no Baggies, no Ziploc, no Tupperware" (I don't know what we're supposed to do with the leftovers we're supposed to frugally save!). Oh, and no second car. Unless of course it's a gold Mercedes your parents gifted to you. :my_dodgy:

The comments are turning into one-upsmanship, as usual. But I think this leghumper has already won:

Quote

My husband and I live in an RV, no AC, no furnace, no running water... no TV, no microwave, not even a toaster or a coffee pot lol... people say, "but you can' t live without ___!!" We're like - um yeah, you can. It's called living within your means.

Although she does seem to have some sort of internet access, so clearly she's either got a computer or a cell phone. Tsk tsk. Not Godly enough, my dear. :naughty:

This hit me too! WTF, indeed. I did some googling and the connection seems mighty tenuous. Some of the "sources" say that Barbara's mother, Pauline, returned to her boyfriend Marvin Piece from sex magicking with Crowley in Frances in 1925. They allegedly subsequently married and Pauline gave birth to Barbara in 1925. Except that Pauline and Marvin married in 1918 and Barbara was the third of four children, the two others being born in 1920 and 1921, which makes it unlikely that a married mother of two young children by a very wealthy and connected man would be permitted to travel solo to Paris to do her thing. Other "sources" describe a convoluted method in which the two got together through a mutual friend of Pauline's and Crowley's.

His biographer, who has access to his diaries (in which he chronicled every sexual encounter he had, due to its significance as a sacrament in the Ordo Templi Orientis, aka Aleister's crazy organization) apparently says that our girl Pauline doesn't show up in them, making it unlikely that Barbara is Aleister's daughter. Shocking, I know.

I will never, EVER be able to understand how ANYONE could look at their six-month-old baby and even CONSIDER using corporal punishment. Being bitten on the boob is painful, yes. But don’t flick the baby’s cheek FFS. Baby Centre advises you check the latch first. If the baby’s a bit older and has more teeth, gently ease them off (put a finger in the mouth) and tell them no... a normal, gentle approach. (May not always work, but it’s a damn sight better than flicking!)

I love baseball but I'm dreading the new season because the White Sox ownership is THE FUCKING WORST. I watched Dominican League Baseball (Lidom!) over the winter and fell in love with their joy, spirit, and exuberance. The broadcasts were in Spanish and my Spanish is pretty weak but I loved catching phrases and repeating them. Bombe! I'm sad about MLB and Commissioner Idiota's busywork rules. But I love baseball, always and forever.
I guess I don't have a point. Just bitching. Te amo mucho, Lidom!

Feeling ragey this morning. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon in the hope of getting help for an ongoing injury. I went to a (different!!) doctor late last year who completely blew me off. He wouldn't do diagnostic testin, he refused to send me to a specialist, and he just told me to "take it easy" and "take ibuprofen." I'm hopeful for today's appointment but I'm also feeling a SEVERE amount of rage at that doctor from last year!

It is definitely strep skin infection. I am getting so damn tired and run down from this. Who the f would immagine being hospitalized freaking TWICE for a rash?

My niece is going to be a seat filler at this year's Academy Awards.  Seat fillers are asked to wear tuxedos regardless of sex/gender.  If you see a pretty young woman with very curly hair, it could be my niece.
