I don't know how to say this without making it sound creepy, so I'll just say that I promise I don't mean this in a creepy way: I think Jonathan just really loves babies and little kids. Thinks they're adorable, or fun, or something. He always takes selfies with the babies and kids when he comes to visit the Duggars.

I get this, my husband is the same way, he loves kids, he loves to play them and goof around with them. Our nieces and nephew love him, our kids loves playing with him when they were small.  Nothing wrong with it and it is sad that we have to preface saying this with "I don't want it to sound creepy" women can love babies and want to spend time with them and its normal but guys do it and its perceived that they are perverts.

Yeah I get it as well. On his insta he is pictured with a lot of little kids. I don't think it is creepy either. I do wonder if any from the Duggar family get annoyed at people grabbin their babies and taking pics with them and posting it online.

I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) they may be insinuating that the Duggars wouldn't allow an interracial marriage. I personally believe they would.

JB&M have been exploiting their children by plastering them all over TLC for the past 13 years - I don't think they're concerned at all with their underage children being splashed around various social media accounts.

They're desperately worried about the dangers of online porn but their children's privacy (or safety?!) never seems to cross their minds...

I agree. He looks like he's awesome with kids and enjoys hanging with them because babies and little kids are really funny. You never know what they'll say or do next. A lot of men and women find that kind of attitude refreshing and love being around kids for that reason.

Ok. And yes I also think they would allow an interracial marriage. I'm not necessarily hinting with the Hartonos but I honestly wouldn't have trouble believing that JB&M would allow for example JD marrying an Asian or Jana marrying a Latin guy. Like @Carm_88 said they have to have the exact beliefs as the duggar clan. 

Also, has anyone seen the pic of Lawson and the Hispanic girl? I can't remember her name but she and her family are close Duggar friends. It certainly looked like they were a pair getting to know one another.

No, they wouldn't. It's ok be to be friends with people of different races, they don't dis like them as long as they have same fucked up belief system, but I'm fairly certain that ATI/IBLP preaches keeping your peas and your potatoes in their separate compartments. They pair well together, but they don't mix.

The Hartonos are IBLP (JD and Jana met them on their Indonesian missioncation several years ago), but Jenni is the oldest. Jonathon would have been a good age pairing for Joy; I think he's 21ish. The younger two Hartono boys are still in their late teens, probably a tad too old for Hannie, who won't even be on the market for five or six more years. 

Race notwithstanding, just based on age alone, there won't be a Hartono-Duggar pairing, unless it's Jenni with JD or Josiah (which would be a Ben/Jessa situation, age-wise).

Jonathan is 23 years old right now and turns 24 in October according to Instagram. Still kind of young but it doesn't matter anyways since he lives in Indonesia

Probably on the late side but I have had a serious thing for Seth Rogen since I was in high school. Although I have for the most part had crushes on the unconventional looking men. First boyfriend looked like Jason Biggs but with B-cup boobs but was pulling a 4.0 GPA in the engineering department at my uni & got a prefect score on the ACT.

I am going to be a party pooper and say, yes, they probably would allow interracial marriage, BUT not with everyone of any race, if you know what I mean...

I have no idea what they really think about race and interracial marriages, but I wouldn't be surprises if JB would not allow a marriage between one of his daughters and a dark black guy or a native American. Asians/Souths-East-Asians (like the Hartonos) and Latinos are a different thing it seems. It may be that they just don't have many black and native American friends and therefore a marriage will never result. But I just have the nagging feeling that JB would not a black guy with one of his daughters. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear I'm not.

I have a feeling they'd be OK with one of the boys courting Jennifer (Jonathan's sister), but I don't think they'd be as keen on a daughter dating a non-white man. It likely wouldn't be a blatant "we will not let you court Jonathan because he is Asian", but a lot of other pressure. Plus, unless Jonathan planned to move to the US (at a time when the US is tightening immigration controls), that would mean a J'Slave moving to Indonesia. Which provides plenty of TV drama as the other girls demonstrate their lack of object constancy and act like she's getting sacrificed to Ba'al and will never be seen again, but I don't think it would be an ideal arrangement after seeing Jill handle living overseas.
