Someone as sexist and horrible as Raquel identifying with the first female super hero movie when her goal in life is to get married is a little soul crushing.

In a vague "out of the corner of your eye" way, I suppose. But Raquel is lacking the critical maturity and poise, not matter how close their features do or do not resemble each other.

Also... um... just read her last blog. Any one else think it is WILDLY inappropriate for a pastor to be privately discussing "passion" in relationships with a young woman like Raquel? Oh dear.

Not necessarily.  I can tell you I have a passion for reading.  Or someone can have a passion for nature or photography.  Or for God.  But when Raquel writes about these discussions and puts it in generalities - those of us who watch her and see her other sometimes inappropriate behavior wonder if she is discussing the aforementioned passion or something else.  Because it's hard to tell the difference with someone who thinks every man who pays her a compliment wants to date her.

So Raquel hasn't blogged recently, but she is still trying to make "custie" happen. Let's see how long her latest custie relationship lasts. And hasn't she already dated her number one custie crush and it lasted no time at all?

The first *good* female super hero movie.  Everyone chooses to forget Supergirl, Catwoman, and Elektra.

She might do better to identify with one of the more sexist and horrible ones, not the good one

 Wait, when did this happen? That's incredibly... uncomfortable. And for all I know this pastor is a perfectly nice man and Raquel just makes everything sound astonishingly creepy.

Wow I've been taking a fundie hiatus for about two years and what do I return to!? Tattooed hot-pants!! Love the "immodesty", great if she likes the tattoos, she'll hate those in 2 years - "that's just Raquel"! But she seems to be encouraging others to leave shitty relationships? More power to her then. She's still so speshul and wise, it hurts.

Just curious, why would you think she'd hate the tattoos in 2 years? Just because people get impulse tattoos doesn't mean they'll regret it. I have to admit always find it a little weird when people look at another person's ink and assume that because it seems silly and impulsive or even poorly done they'll be regretted.

Raquel's shown herself to be incredibly fickle.  That said, she never seems to show any regret about her more idiotic moments so maybe she'll just pretend her tattoos never existed like her horse or her Christian romance novel...

Well when this relationship goes bad I hope the guy gets custody of the puppy. We all know Raquel has a bad history of caring for animals.

I took a break from Raquel, only to find that she has more tattoos, a boyfriend who looks like the the dictionary illustration of a skeeve, and a pit bull puppy I'm sure she'll tire of when it's no longer small and cute, and completely unruly because she didn't bother to train it.
