It also explains why Joy was at the last marriage retreat with her parents/Josh and Anna a couple months back. I expect an engagement to be the crowning episode of the next Duggar season.

I presume they began courting this October. They probably could be engaged any day now, since they have "known" each other for 15 years.

Yeah, I fully expect an engagement by New Year's Day, although who knows when they'll officially announce? I would assume when the new season is due to start whenever it is in January.

I really, really hope that  Jinger's  wedding dress is loaned to someone else as their "something borrowed". I don't care if it is a sister, a future sister in law, or a friend. That train MAKES the portraits!

Jinger's wedding was the best out of her sisters.  It was obvious that Sierra wasn't in charge. And Jinger made a beautiful bride.  Michelle seems a lot more "into " this wedding.  A lot more present. 

I wonder what Jana thinks as all her sisters, one by one, get to experience a kiss. 

Derrick coming in a "saving" Jill from that awful groomsmen who was to escort her down the aisle.  So ridiculous.  Josh didn't cut in on Anna.  I missed if Ben and Jessa left their places in the bridal party line and had to walk each other down the aisle. 

Not only was John David a groomsmen but he was like second in line, next to the best man.  Interesting.

Poor Joy.  She seems so young.

Of all the Duggar weddings that I have seen, I have enjoyed Jinger's the most. Her dress, even the bridesmaids were better then the others.

I think JD was so high up in the order so to escort his virginal sister in the recession. Did you guys see how far down the totem pole Ben rated? Ben is obviously far less impotant to Jeremy than Jeremy is to Ben.

Haven't watched....but yuck...Derick is getting grosser and more Josh/JB-like every day, it seems.

Really stupid that they are airing planning next season.

Sad about Joy. This family looked just as messed up as the Duggars.

I have to say that of all the Duggar Boys,  Jason seems to be pretty comfortable on camera and is well spoken.  TLC should focus on him some more.  Seems to have more going on intellectually than the other boys

I know the new courting couple was talked about on the other thread. I have to say that I really wished the new courting person was either one of the twins or Joseph.

That's kind of a creepy thought. I thought  they actually looked cute (in a non weird way, the same way my two cousins- brother and sister- looked walking in together at my wedding) walking together. I also thought it was good that Hannie and Ben walked together. As much as we snark on Ben, at least she was with someone she knows and is likely comfortable around than some random man. I also cringed with derick pushing the groomsman away to dip Jill and actually felt grateful Ben didn't interfere to do that to Jessa (or worse smug with anna)

I really liked that Jana and John-David walked out together. The think with Johannah and Ben was good also.  She did not know any of the other groomsmen so it was the right thing for Ben to walk out with her.

No Ben stayed with Johannah which I think was cute by the way. And Jessa stayed with Chuck. Derrick is just JB with a man bun. JB has his hair and Derrick has his.

The unity candle thing is supposed to symbolize their old selves coming together to be one person. Maybe the fact that they couldn't use their old candles and had to create a new flame will be symbolic of them throwing out their old ways and forging a new life together! (I know it won't happen but we can dream)

Jinger had a wonderful wedding. Her dress was so beautiful. 

Joy-Anna... I have no words. My parents were 22 and 23 when they married. She's three years younger and I can't see them stretching it to 22.

Jinger continues to be the only thoughtful Duggar so far -- I'm impressed that she took the time to make/buy bridesmaids gifts and something for Jboob. She seems to care quite a bit more about other people than either Jill or Jessa.
