Mountain Climbing Docs

So I'm obsessed with mountain climbing documentaries.  I watched The Summit yesterday.  About a climb up K2 in 2008 with the highest fatality record.  11/25 died.  A few months ago I watched Meru, which is a fabulous movie.  So riveting.  3 climbers attempt a peak in the Himalayas never before ascended.

Touching the Void is pretty good.

Meru disappointed me. :/

If you watch enough of them, you start to see the same people over and over.

For a documentary about a mountain race (not climbing) 3022 ft was pretty good but im biased.

Not a mountain climbing documentary, but I watched "The Barkley Marathons" on Netflix streaming last night.  Amazing and quirky.  The participants run a course in Tennessee with elevation that is the equivalent of climbing Mt.  Everest twice.

If you like documentaries of people testing their endurance, this is a good one.  Very unusual event and characters galore.
