She certainly looks pregnant to me. It could be bad posture, but I'd bet baby.

Law school or not, they have a quiver to fill.

#3 is over a year old so not improbable.

Looks like Stephen has a summer clerkship in DC or something -- wonder who or what firm it's with.

I don't think she looks pregnant. :pb_rollseyes:

So, I know Stephen's mode of courting was....questionable. What I don't understand is the idea that he doesn't seem very into her. We're going on a few Facebook profiles? Has he written something somewhere? What am I missing? If we're going on looks alone, they look like a happy little family.

we had a discussion on them somewhere on here....some of us and (this is just our opinons based on zero FACTS:) believe that Meredith and the children are just pawns in his game to move up politically and in his career.  He never really is looking at her in photos and she spent a lot of time at her parents house this year.  Stephen is a strange bird with the path he has taken with her.  At any rate, my own thoughts are that at some point as he moves up, this fundie, SAHD, QF, homeschooling act will wear off and he will want someone more on his level. Just my thoughts. Hope she isn't pregnant again,

There's a lot of pics for Daniel's birth, but one draws my attention. Don't you think Melanie is pregnant? Her last is 2 years old.... I hope for her a good pregnancy, and a good delivery, but, if I remember well,  it's not her specialty.

Per IG, Mia Morton is here. Not details.

I hate seeing any children born into these families - but especially girls.  I hope for her own sake that she is not a questioner or a thinker - because life as a Morton girl will not be easy if she is.

62 hours of labor, ended up getting a c- section. Mia looks chubby and very cute.

I'm glad that they are both safe and healthy, and that they had access to medical intervention when it was so clearly needed. I'm not sure if Kennedy ever even wanted a homebirth, but to my knowledge, this is the first cesarean in Mortonland.

I was thinking the same sentiment about poor Kennedy...These poor young women, barely out of their teens, "submitting" to their teenage husbands and really their crazy extended family.  I really hope because there are so many extended family members around that she gets extra help.  What makes me sad is down the road, when she has 8/9 will she have help then? Glad she and the baby are fine.  I am certain one of these days a Morton/Smith/Lane baby or mama will not be.

Any news about Melissa Niednagel yet? Her due date was July 4th. Lovely Jordanyo wrote that he wished the newest blessing wouldn't arrive that day since it is their wedding anniversary and he likes "celebrations spread apart". Well Mr. Smart Ass, then why did you get married on the Fourth of July in the first place? :pb_rollseyes:

I keep checking Facebook to see if there's any Niednagel news. Jordan hasn't updated the blog either. Do you think he's waiting for the baby to be born before he does this month's blog post?

I keep checking too! He just updated the blog and he mentions at the end of the blog post no baby yet. If I remember correctly, she was due on the 4th, so over a week late now.

Her mom just painted Melissa's toenails. No baby yet. How long overdue will her midwives let her go?

I think two weeks is the most many will allow. Midwives can strip membranes and recommend doing things like brisk walks and sex in order to get things going. But by 42 weeks the placenta starts breaking down, fluid can get low, and the baby continues to grow so it's best to try and get the baby out once you're two weeks overdue. So I guess she could go until July 18th.

In my experience, most doctors won't let you go a week past now a days, but I think 2 weeks is the absolute max.  And one good thing, is that her midwife is part of a practice that does have a MD on staff.  Since its a new practice, since Marian was born and it has a birthing center, it'll be interesting to see if she has the baby at home or at the birthing center.

My OBGYN allowed 10 days as long as nothing was going wrong. But I know the midwives around here allowed 2 weeks. I would never go 2 weeks. 3 days past due was awful enough!

I just see that Alison Kendall (John-Everett Kendall's wife) is pregnant with her fourth child. She published a sonogram-pic on her FB with other pics of her children.

Did Elizabeth Johnston just have her 10th? I see that she posted a pic of herself with an infant in June, and her fb profile says she is the mother of 10, even though I count 9 in her cover photo.

Ha ha, you beat me to it, @Blanket Trained!

Actually, Jordan, this feminist thinks your post is funny and cute. We’re not really such humorless monsters, you know…

Congrats on the birth of Jonas Archer!

I love baseball but I'm dreading the new season because the White Sox ownership is THE FUCKING WORST. I watched Dominican League Baseball (Lidom!) over the winter and fell in love with their joy, spirit, and exuberance. The broadcasts were in Spanish and my Spanish is pretty weak but I loved catching phrases and repeating them. Bombe! I'm sad about MLB and Commissioner Idiota's busywork rules. But I love baseball, always and forever.
I guess I don't have a point. Just bitching. Te amo mucho, Lidom!

      Happy International Women's Day!

Humanity may have some work to do, to improve gender equality, but I was glad to hear that France has taken an important step to protect healthcare for women (and people of other genders who can get pregnant).

Feeling ragey this morning. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon in the hope of getting help for an ongoing injury. I went to a (different!!) doctor late last year who completely blew me off. He wouldn't do diagnostic testin, he refused to send me to a specialist, and he just told me to "take it easy" and "take ibuprofen." I'm hopeful for today's appointment but I'm also feeling a SEVERE amount of rage at that doctor from last year!

Well, the rash is back with a vengeance. It never completely cleared up. I saw the derm yesterday and they did another swab and yup, raging infection again, still? It is definitely strep skin infection. I am getting so damn tired and run down from this. Who the f would immagine being hospitalized freaking TWICE for a rash?

So angry right now.  If I could return to Luxembourg tomorrow and renounce my citizenship in this stinking shitpile of a country I would.

My niece is going to be a seat filler at this year's Academy Awards.  Seat fillers are asked to wear tuxedos regardless of sex/gender.  If you see a pretty young woman with very curly hair, it could be my niece.

It’s not supposed to be mosquito season right now but I still appear to have been bitten twice on the side of my foot. Bastards. I know I shouldn’t scratch but it’s so tempting… 😑
