Of course Deadstate fucked up by calling this a "massive Christian boycott" instead of what it actually is - which is a boycott by sick reich wing religious freaks who have little better to do (aside from widestancing it in airport shithouses, that is) than to get all bent out of shape over who is going into what bathroom.

And I wish the people boycotting the stores would go elsewhere, I don't want such hateful idiots around me when I'm shopping.  That's what Wally World is for.

OK, am gonna go big, and to heck with the Eternal Internet keeping tabs and records!

I have been at sex-positive camps, where bathrooms and shower-stalls were "all gender, all the time". (From what I understand, there were gender-limited places for those peeps who really just felt happier if this was just so.)

HAVE slept in multi-gendered spaces, for days and nights, with all of me bare-butted-and-cis-female-nekkid, and I NEVER, ever felt afraid that someone might climb in and take advantage of me, because CONSENT was a Great Big Huge Honking Issue.

Tell the truth, I have felt wayyyyy more vulnerable, in a knee-length skirt and fairly modest boobage-coverups, in downtown DC and the metro DC area. (Heck, I called security in to escort to my car, in a parking garage in Eastern Baltimore, in the mid-1980s. Garages were SCARY.)

FWIW, I feel that I can walk bare-female-cis-nekkid through a LOT of kinky-common spaces (mess hall might be an issue: they kinda wanted Naughty Parts covered up, because health codes), and not feel scared or threatened.

**If the HardCore Whips and Chains Crowd isn't getting all riled up---do you honestly expect dull boring transfolk are gonna raise Cain?**

Yeah I saw that in the news yesterday.  Bevin's gotta show the world what a big time teabagger he is.  I imagine all the GOP idiots are going to hop on the bathroom train to show what big time tough guys they are as a way of whipping up the base into a frenzy ahead of the general election season and getting them into voting booths.

If the woman thinks Target is so evil, why not just boycott the store? How is screaming your way through the store doing anything but making a freak show of yourself? 

And this bathroom thing has been dragging on for way longer than I figured it would. I can't believe this is even an issue. Go home and pee if it's such a concern for you!

I went and bought a Target scrip card at church this morning.  I have to mow the lawn this afternoon while it's nice out.  Later on I'll go straight to the ebil devil store and get myself something.  Not sure what yet.

It's probably more about drawing attention to herself and showing all her groupies what a big time reich wing Christian she is.

I think this whole shithouse this is a big election year ploy to get the reich wingers out and into the voting booths to vote Republican.

Yeah, it's private property so they can exclude anyone they want from the premises.  Hopefully she'll soon be in receipt of communication telling her and her family not to grace Target with their presence anymore.  I suspect the manager may be talking to their legal department first to make sure the proper letters are dotted, crossed, etc.
