Hey, anyone here in FJ land need a flame thrower?

Quote

Musk's The Boring Company, which wants to create a network of underground tunnels to ease traffic congestion, is offering flamethrowers for sale on its website for a cool $500.

Musk said on Twitter early Sunday morning that 2,000 flamethrowers have already been pre-ordered. It's advertised as "guaranteed to liven up any party."

Unsurprisingly, the internet has gone nuts.

The company said it plans to cap sales at 20,000 units, but declined to comment further.

And a Pennsylvania woman learned the hard way not to bring her coke, meth, and acid into jail with her...

Quote

Carema Lashandra Brown, 29, was booked into the Jefferson County jail on January 5 after she was charged with two felony theft counts. Unable to post $60,000 bail, Brown was detained at the jail in Brookville, a borough about 80 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

Within a week of Brown’s arrival, jail personnel began investigating the distribution of narcotics inside the facility. During questioning, two female inmates--whose recorded phone calls indicated they had been using LSD--confessed that they obtained the acid from Brown.

However, the following day jail staffers removed Brown’s weave and discovered that she had narcotics hidden under her fake hair. A criminal complaint notes that investigators seized eight ounces of cocaine, eight ounces of meth, 78 doses of acid, and a glass pipe with burn marks.

The drug discovery resulted in the filing of 18 narcotics counts (nine felonies, nine misdemeanors) against Brown, who is seen above. Her bail was set at $100,000.

Meanwhile in Illinois...

Quote

Fearful of an impending zombie apocalypse, an agitated Illinois allegedly man stole a car, rammed the vehicle into an airport terminal, and then made his way onto the tarmac, where he boarded a vacant plane in an apparent bid to escape the undead invaders.

Justin Deemie, 27, was indicted today on several felony charges related to a bizarre drug-fueled spree last month in Peoria. Locked up in lieu of $500,000 bond, Deemie  is charged with burglary, home invasion, criminal damage, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Pictured at right, Deemie faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted of the felony counts.

According to investigators, Deemie was under the influence of narcotics on February 17 when he became convinced that a zombie invasion was nigh. Deemie is accused of breaking into the home of a neighbor, Larhonda Gonzalez, around 3 AM and stealing the keys to her Ford Escape.
