Judge blames teen for seducing teacher

It's very common for teens to struggle with healthy boundaries with adult authority figures. Their brains are still developing, and they're still learning appropriate relationship patterns. Kids aren't born knowing what is and isn't appropriate behavior toward adults.

That's why it's critical for the adult in the situation to set the boundaries. The child may not have the ability to set those limits, but any adults who are going to place themselves in a position of being educators for youth need to have the ability to do so, and need to do so consistently to help the kids learn what is appropriate and healthy.

Regardless of the girl's conduct, the teacher needed to respond to that behavior with a gentle but firm "No" every time.

Beyond disgusting. A child cannot consent to a relationship with an adult! And a child is certainly not responsible for "seducing" a grown ass adult.

The UK?  So we here in the US don't have the lock on misogynistic jerks being named judges?  I thought for sure it'd be some judge from either the south or the west when I first saw this title.
