Pro-Life Tea Party Christian Execute All Ebola Patients

Of course he is pro life as long as it is white unborn fetus's.

Todd Kincannon, former director of the South Carolina GOP and staunch pro-lifer (when it’s convenient, given that he supports abortion when it and time travel could eliminate someone he hates) has a solution to that whole Ebola…thing.

In a series of tweets, Kincannon explained that his solution to the problem presented by the virus can easily be solved with a little cold-blooded murder and a whole lot of napalm!

So was he saying this when it was the white aid worker and the nurse who were in recovery? :angry-banghead:

keep on shooting yourselves in the foot, right wingers.

I am nearly speechless at this. Please oh please tell me there has been some sort of reaction to this? The GOP needs to completely distance themselves from someone like this. I have many friends who are GOP and they are good decent humane people. Monsters like this man, really stain the entire party.

Sadly, in SC, not many speak out against the "party line". And here, the party is tea. My folks, my BIL, brother, SIL and half fo my family think like this. Sadly, some were liberal before Barack Obama was elected. As I tell my conservative husband: There are conservatives (him) and there are right wing nut jobs who give conservatives a bad name (Kincannon, Gowdy, DeMinted, Scott, et al). I have also told my husband that more conservatives like him need to speak out. They don't listen to me (I am a socialist, as is my sister) because, well, all liberals lie.

That makes me sick. Ebola has killed about 7 thousand this year. In 2009, swine flu killed over 200,000. So, by this logic, should we kill everyone who comes down with swine flu? Of course, it’s not just black indigenous people who are suffering from it right now… :pull-hair:

I hate to break it to this utter waste of oxygen but if Ebola was decimated to the point that it no longer existed, through his chosen method or any other, another infectious disease would pop up to replace it. It might even originate in the US. Viruses are always trying to kill humans. It is nature's way of controlling the population. Less than 100 years ago influenza hit the US like a brick and thousands of people perished. Would he have preferred that we bomb NYC to prevent the spread of the disease? I am no scientist but I am betting that the less than ideal sanitary conditions and crowded living conditions have a role to play in this disease in A FEW African countries.(Why does he refer to the entire continent of Africa?) It really looks like that a lot of Tea Party types are ignorant or stupid and are terribly fearful. They are poised to increase their numbers in the House of Representatives after the next election. Be afraid.

His name makes me think of Cinnamon and I can't help it.

What would he do if one of those Ebola infected people were pregnant? Wait until the fetus was born and then execute them both?

These people need to rethink calling themselves "pro-life".

He also hates women. Surprise!

Looking at the whole feed, is it not a hoax account? WIth the double underscores between the names, as quoted.

twitter.com/Todd__Kincannon

I'm just going by the amount of crude language, really. But twitter's also got this thing where they authenticate accounts of public figures to make sure they're not hoaxes, and this account isn't authenticated.

if it isn't authentic, i think it's pretty sad that this kind of sentiment is not immediately quashed as "this can't be real".

this is what is so difficult to understand. This is the information age, and yet, some people choose to use the internet and cable TV to LIMIT their knowledge and believe ever more ridiculous things.

this story was also posted on Wonkette - a satire site. The account's not verified and judging from the language used it's just someone trolling.

I agree with CelticGoddess...the conservatives need to take back their party from the crazy that has held them hostage. I'm not sure how you do that short of splitting the party...but I do believe there is a large, silent population of conservatives who just put up with these folks. I think of my self professed conservative family members...we don't agree on a lot, but we can have reasonable debates. They are also generally far more socially progressive than the yahoo Tea Partiers.

I think the conservatives also know they need as many angry old white man votes as possible to stave off the demographic storm against them for a few more election cycles....when will they finally cast off the crazy wing and embrace the brown peoples of America?

That really is his Twitter account. His authenticated account was suspended late last year, so he just started up a new unauthenticated account earlier this year. Just Google his name and Twitter, and you'll see stories about all sorts of nasty stuff he's said on a variety of subjects.

Some women have also claimed he sent them unsolicited pictures of his erect penis.

First of all, Obama is not African. He's American. Born and raised here. Secondly, Obama's father is from Kenya. Kenya is in east Africa. The Ebola outbreak is in west Africa. Apparently, I have to explain this because this guy doesn't have two brain cells to rub together.

This further proves to me that the pro-life movement is less about preserving life and more about controlling women.

So black people in Africa are "zulus putting bones through their noses"? Um...okay. Clearly he hasn't seen the shit white people do.

Also let's napalm African kids? I'm sure he sees "humanely" executing ebola patients outside Africa as tenderness for the plight of non-Africans.

I love baseball but I'm dreading the new season because the White Sox ownership is THE FUCKING WORST. I watched Dominican League Baseball (Lidom!) over the winter and fell in love with their joy, spirit, and exuberance. The broadcasts were in Spanish and my Spanish is pretty weak but I loved catching phrases and repeating them. Bombe! I'm sad about MLB and Commissioner Idiota's busywork rules. But I love baseball, always and forever.
I guess I don't have a point. Just bitching. Te amo mucho, Lidom!

      Happy International Women's Day!

Humanity may have some work to do, to improve gender equality, but I was glad to hear that France has taken an important step to protect healthcare for women (and people of other genders who can get pregnant).

Feeling ragey this morning. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon in the hope of getting help for an ongoing injury. I went to a (different!!) doctor late last year who completely blew me off. He wouldn't do diagnostic testin, he refused to send me to a specialist, and he just told me to "take it easy" and "take ibuprofen." I'm hopeful for today's appointment but I'm also feeling a SEVERE amount of rage at that doctor from last year!

Well, the rash is back with a vengeance. It never completely cleared up. I saw the derm yesterday and they did another swab and yup, raging infection again, still? It is definitely strep skin infection. I am getting so damn tired and run down from this. Who the f would immagine being hospitalized freaking TWICE for a rash?

My niece is going to be a seat filler at this year's Academy Awards.  Seat fillers are asked to wear tuxedos regardless of sex/gender.  If you see a pretty young woman with very curly hair, it could be my niece.

It’s not supposed to be mosquito season right now but I still appear to have been bitten twice on the side of my foot. Bastards. I know I shouldn’t scratch but it’s so tempting… 😑
