Back from a Star Trek convention, part of the 50th Anniversary celebration of the first episode of Star Trek (aired September 8, 1966). It was so much fun. I met some wonderful people there...and a couple of annoying folks too. I got to see some of my favorite actors, who portrayed some of the best characters across the different series/movies.
I so needed the break from real life, though coming back to work was a real bucket of ice water dumped over my head. Why is it that for every day we take off, it takes us two or three days to catch up? I guess I'll get caught up sometime next week...
I found lime Skittles in a new assortment. Only its just a big bag. I've not bought it for about a month. I caved. Then I ate about thirty lime ones first. Then a lot more Skittles. All before dinner. Oogh.
My mom calls me up asking for a CD player so she could play the learn Russian CDs I got her for Mother's Day. I reminded her that I got her one of those with the CDs. Embarrassed that she forgot she had one she decided to save face by telling me -yeah she knew she had one but the CD player needed a new needle.
Dimentia is no joke but you have to laugh when you can.
