Yes, any source I can find indicates that Amy is currently 47, turning 48 later this month. TLC and the Roloffs must not have heard about the internets.

As for Jake, I think the show itself played a large role in his both his dislike of being filmed and his "issues". He's the biggest victim of his parents' phony reality show. Despite being the least filmed in the family, all of his most traumatic childhood moments (and he had more than his share) have been shared with world while his parents seem to have focused far more attention on the older sons and their own problems in order to make the show more "entertaining". I hope he turns out okay, but fear he still has a difficult road ahead of him.

I worry that Jake may have lasting problems from his traumatic brain injury. I would not be surprised if he needs medical help but the family ignores it.

I started off liking this show too, and then as it went on, I became horrified. Matt Roloff is an asshole, in my opinion. He and Amy are about the most mismatched couple I've ever seen. I always found it intriguing that his own father seemed constantly annoyed by him. The grandparents quit the show eventually. And their parenting - oy vey! They are completely clueless.

I loved Molly though, and I hope she has a good life in spite of what she had to put up with at home. Jeremy, however....just yuck.

I was late to the Roloff party. I only began watching during the summer after Matt's DUI arrest after I read about that. I think I've caught the majority of the earlier episodes except for maybe season one. Matt really comes across as a selfish jerk. Without starting from the beginning, I never did really like any of them except for Molly but she has had her fits of entitlement. But then she was a teen during that time and who wouldn't have some occasional spells living in that household. I hope Molly does well independently and that Jake gets the help he needs. I don't see a lot of hope for Jeremy or Zach. I think Amy and Matt ruined them years ago. It was almost as if each picked a pet twin and began to have battles us against them.

This show is so bad. The Roloffs are so fake and phony. These "updates" don't actually have any "updates" in them because the Roloffs are so fake and they can't show anything that makes them look bad. Remember Matt and Amy are producers of the show too. Under oath, Matt and Amy admitted they have the final say over how they are portrayed on the show and what makes it to tv and what doesn't. Also the former Producer of the series is one of the Roloffs closest friends. That tells you all you need to know about the level of professionalism and realism on this show.

Between Roloff family members posting (and then removing) on the internet things about how the crew directs them where to stand and what to say, between Matt laughing at fans that believe what they saw on tv was real, between seeing how things are portrayed vs what actually happens, between hearing what the Roloffs say when they are under oath in a court and then knowing all the repulsive stuff they do in real life....that show is laughable.

The best way to follow what the Roloffs are really doing is the spiritswander.blogspot.com like someone else posted. That's the blog that Matt and Amy are so obsessed with and hate so much they actually tried to Subpoena and lost.

If you want a real update that you don't get on the show, I'll go quick on things since the series was cancelled (and yes the weekly series was cancelled, it was not the Roloffs decision. Matt lies about that. When he under oath (faced with the penalty of perjury) he admitted that the network informed them they would not renew the weekly series after 2010.

Jeremy and his best friend from the show "Mueller" throw cats. Yeah 20 year old men at the time, were caught throwing the family cat and snapping pictures of it. (pictures in the link below)

http://spiritswander.blogspot.ca/2011/02/pictures-of-jeremy-roloff-and-jacob.html

Jeremy and his friends are also fond of stomping on birds and taking pictures of them with bloody dead animals.

One of the other fake things about the Roloff is how right wing religious they are. I don't care what they believe, they can believe what they want. But say what you want about the Duggars show, but at least that show is honest. The Duggars have some beliefs that most people consider to be crazy, but at least they are honest about them. So do the Roloffs, but the difference is the show covers up that side of the Roloffs to make them more likable. Also because it would show their hypocrisy considering their show markets itself as "we teach to accept people who are different from you". The Church that Jeremy and Molly love have some very controversial views. Gay people need to pray to Jesus to become "cured". Molly applauded Kirk Cameron for his comments on CNN about gay people being destructive to civilization. Jeremy and Molly's favorite pastor teaches very "traditional" views on women and what their role is in life...to serve their husband, complete with the stuff about how women need to defer to their husband and ask their husband to explain spiritual questions.

You kind of see why the show is fake. Kind of hard to promote the show as "All people are the same. Accept us as we are for our difference....but by the way, people who are different from us, like gays, they need to pray to be normal...but don't you dare tell us to pray to get taller! I don't think that message would go over well. Therefore the show is very fake and never gets into what the Roloffs really do.

As for changes since the series was cancelled?

Jeremy is in a for profit photography school in Santa Barbara, California. You pay and you're in. He spends most of his time taking pretty pictures and hanging out on the beach, surfing, etc.

I think it's telling that the "updates" totally ignored giving an update on how he is actually doing at the school. That's not to say anyone knows that he is failing, but knowing what the Roloffs are like, if they could brag that he was doing great, they would have done it. I think the silence is an indicator.

Jeremy still doesn't have a real job (lets admit it, despite their protests, the Roloffs have made being reality tv stars their careers) and his parents pay for his expensive camera, equipment, phone, etc. He lives with a bunch of Christian friends from the college. Jeremy says he's starting to shoot some weddings.

Jeremy has a girlfriend in Oregon that is also very into the church he attends. She has a twitter account and a blog that I've read. Very what I'd expect for Jeremy's girlfriend. Every second post is about how her life is dedicated to serving the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ. In between the "living for Jesus" posts she'll sometimes call people "Creepers". I love the irony.

Zach still lives at home. Hangs out with all the same friends and now the girlfriend. Apparently still works at the Indoor soccer place. I have no idea about PCC, but if he was still going there this fall, that would be his 4th year there? That's probably done. Again, the fact that they haven't given any "update" on how he did at PCC in any of these "updates" is very telling.

Molly got accepted to Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. She moved there last week. It's a private Christian college.

Jacob like someone else said, got expelled from the private Christian school that all the Roloffs kids had attended. That was near the end of grade 8. They had him finish the year at a learning center. He went to a public high school last year. In the documents that were on the court site for the Roloffs lawsuit against the county, Matt talked about that. He blamed Amy for neglecting Jacob. Said the school told them it was the parents responsibility to make sure Jacob does his homework and completes his assignments. Matt said Amy didn't do that because she goes out with her friends all the time. Matt said Jacob started out doing well in the public high school but his grades quickly went downhill as he got more social with the new kids.

Matt and Amy pretend on Facebook that they are very happy. But even Matt's hardcore fans that follow his Facebook page notice how often Matt takes solo trips to Hawaii. Every couple of months it seems. Again, in his deposition for the lawsuit, Matt said he feels neglected in the marriage because Amy goes out with her friends so much and leaves him at home.

Amy is into being Amy the celebrity. She does a lot with her charity foundation (hence going out with her friends so much). Most of it seems to involve Amy going to parties and having a good time. Pretty good gig. Ask other people to give their money, go to parties, drink and dance and get patted on the back for raising money for charity.

Matt and Amy sued Washington County for $250,000 for the trespassing issue that was in an episode. They claimed Amy deserved $250,000 in emotional distress. They claimed that all the stress they have in life is all because the inspector went onto their property to inspect the ark. Amy claims she was terrified of the inspector (that she tried to prevent from leaving and climbed into his lap!). The court records also reveal how the "show" is not what actually happens. They watched the unedited footage in court. The inspector tripped and almost fell into Amy as he was trying to leave, he caught himself at the last second before he bumped into her....Amy snarked "Well, that will look good on camera!" They edited that out. At the end of it, she turned to the camera and said "That was fun!" They edited that out too.

The Roloffs lost the majority of the parts of their case (a bunch of constitutional claims they were going for). The judge threw it all out and stripped it down to simple trespass case. They eventually settled right before it was to go to court. Interestingly, the county was going to call Jacob as a witness because he screwed Matt and Amy over. They were saying that Amy was emotionally devastated and has never been more crushed in her life all because of that one incident with the inspector. Jacob testified when asked that there was no change in Amy at all. lol.

There's a new lawsuit, this time against the Roloffs from a pumpkin season customer a few years ago. She said she fell and broke a her leg. It hasn't healed. She's had 8 surgeries and might need to have it amputated. She's suing for $2 million Her lawsuit lists tons of alleged violations that the Roloffs didn't meet the Washington County safety codes. Matt thinks people just try to extort money from him because he's a Little Person. He said that in the deposition for his own lawsuit against the county.

The Roloffs bought the neighbors farm and have a lot more land.

That's about it. Same old. Matt gets people do projects on the farm to give them episode plots, like building a chicken coop. Amy has a cookbook coming out soon.

I basically like Amy, but she was, and probably still is, a huge enabler of those lazy ass twins.

Amy seems to be an enabler of everyone in her family, tries to do everything herself, and then complains when she gets no help. Matt is a narcissist.

I think Amy is a perfect example of a parent wanting to be more of a friend to their children then a parent. There was one episode where she was asked something about how she kept tabs on her kid's education (it was in response to something about the fail twins). I don't remember exactly what she said, but was so laissez faire, it was a double face-palm moment.

The first picture is a picture that Jeremy's roommate in Santa Barbara posted from one of their hiking trips. That was rather recent.

The second picture is from last year back in Oregon on a Jeremy and Mueller day together.

There's no picture, but there's another bird stomping story that made the rounds a couple of years ago. There is a screen capture of the posting somewhere but I don't have it handy right this second. It was Jeremy and his Oregon friends, the ones that used to always be on the show. They were talking online after one of their hiking trips. They talked about a bird (that they gave a name) life was snuffed out on an edge of the cliff by a size 14 boot, and he (the bird) never even saw it coming. Mueller (Jeremy's Best Friend) corrected the other friend by saying he has a size 15 boot that he used for the stomping.

Isn't it interesting that Jeremy can change states, be in a different group of friends, but dead and destroyed animals seem to follow him around?

Warning: I find these pictures disgusting. You might not want to look if you don't like seeing dead animals, have a weak stomach or are eating something right now....

(if you can't see on the second picture, there is a hole in the bloody head of the bird)

And, I'm sorry, her basically lazy ass husband. I know he "looks" like he's always busy, but I get a huge "con man" vibe from him -- all talk. I used to watch it regularly and I always felt sorry for hardworking "the only adult in the family" Amy. I didn't even know she was a teacher until well into the series. No bragging there, unlike Matt.

I fucking hate Matt Roloff. He comes up with all these crazy ideas, then directs every sucker he can find while they do the actual work that's involved. He has this arrogance about him that I can't stand. I have found that the best bosses have learned from experience. Don't try to tell me how to do something, let alone stand over me ( lol) while I do it, if you have never done it yourself ! Back off, Jackhole ! You ain't all that. I don't even like his freaking *voice* ! Don't get me started on those know nothing, ( and don't want to know anything ) lazy assed twins. I remember an episode where they showed Jeremy rolling around in the sand, as waves came in...all they needed was some porno music...trying to appeal to teeny boppers, much ? They need to divorce, already !

mmm... Get ready for some cross-over awesomeness! Perhaps one of the Duggar kids defect and marry someone from Oregon in a non-church wedding. They can get the bride's dress and Kleinfeld's, then have the reception at the farm.

A long time ago, at the start of the series, Matt was hosting a few corporate events on the farm, against Amy's wishes. Last year, they bought the farm next to them, and that's where they're going to do weddings and other events, so Amy's "privacy" will be maintained, but Matt can still get his ego stroked and have a purpose for which he can constantly insist he "has" to have (another building, another man toy, another car, whatever...).

I like how Amy admits that TLC is apparently picking up most of the cost of renovating the barn and grounds into an event venue. Gotta hand it to Matt - he knows how to make a deal.

Guess since they lost their case against the county, they had to find something else to bring in the bucks and maintain their lifestyle...

Won't be watching - I live in LPBW territory, and I've had more than enough of them.
