Can I just say I miss scripted shows. Plus are more religious types doing more reality shows hoping it will lead people to church, because church attendance is declining in the country.

I like this show already. I love how they aren't totally playing into the stereotype of preacher's daughter's being sluts and instead showing non-freaky head petting prayer, normal prayer of "please don't let my daughter become a porn star" and young teenagers losing their vcard. How classy reality tv is just blows my mind.

Yeah, I admit that I have watched both of the episodes of this show already (I'm procrastinating all of the things I have to do in the next week!) and it irks me that all three plotlines are about sex. That's all there is for preacher's daughters to talk about?

Well, it is all Kolby's mom thinks about. I'm amazed at how everything so easily comes back down to sex with her. Did you see the episode where Kolby breaks down at the dinner table because her sister had sex before marriage? My sister has never been my role model, so maybe that's why I don't understand where she's coming from. But personally, my beliefs on religion are between God and I not my sisters actions. I would be disappointed she lied but not squalling like a toddler and making her regret telling everyone.

Just watching this. I think that the oldest sister is telling her younger sisters something very important about how God does not love conditionally and how virginity is not the only thing that makes you worthy in God's eyes or as a person. It is really sad that the mother is not able to understand that very mature view of faith and of life. Even though Kolby thinks she has lost a role model with this "stunning" revelation, I have a feeling she has gained a better one and she will understand that in the future.
