Canadian FJers - W5 doc on Ontario poly cult

CTV is right now airing an episode of W5 that covers a polygamist cult in Ontario, near Owen Sound. I can't watch it all right now but I'm recording it for later, just wanted to give a heads up for others. Does anyone already know anything about Mormons in the area?

Well it doesn't start until the next hour for me, but I certainly will be watching. Thanks for the heads up, I had no idea of the Owen Sound community either.

I watched it. Excellent show, and this guy is unquestionably running a cult. I don't know that mormonism has all that much to do with it - it seemed more like a convenient excuse to indulge in polygamy.

I'm also familiar with the area, somewhat. My parents families are from Grey County (Durham) There are other groups around there that are off-the grid so to speak. Like the raw milk farmer, and a school that is anti-vax.

They weren't able to actually infiltrate the so-called church. It's more just a huge family living in a compound (old ski resort).

Those men disgust me.
