  1. Happy 2nd Birthday-it is never too early to make your plan to escape the HCofSC cult. Enjoy your day
  2. Happy belated B day Queen Elizabeth The Obamas were at Kensington Palace this week to celebrate
  3. Happy Birthday Sarah Maxwell!

By Steve: "We love you and are so grateful you choose to be apart [sic] of our family until the Lord brings along the right guy." We also don't want to tell people how old you really are as you wither on the vine. Nor do we want to help the Lord along by giving you any opportunity to get out there and actually meet eligible men. I wish Sarah could be apart from her family.
  4. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

According to USA Today, Dr. Seuss would have been 112 today. They provided a compilation of Seuss-isms, but not what I find most memorable. I think my choices would be: "Big A, little A, what begins with A?" (Aunt Annie's alligator . . . . ) And "I will not eat green eggs and ham. I will not eat it, Sam-I-Am." What about you? Is Dr. Seuss on your list of great writers? http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/nation-now/2016/03/02/dr-seuss-birthday-childrens-books-quotes/81205510/
  5. My fur nephew Marvel turned three today! Yay!
  6. Happy 94th Betty White

For once some positive news. Happy 94th to Golden Girl Betty White http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/17/entertainment/betty-white-94th-birthday-2016-feat/
  7. Happy 25th birthday, John Maxwell!

May you sneak off and enjoy a cold beer...... 25, Stevie's got to be pushing him to find a bride. 'Course, no one will know until AFTER the wedding takes place.... Though I wonder if it will need to be a double wedding with Jesse. (Can't have him in his own room.)
  8. Anna's birthday is tomorrow, Halloween! (Not to be confused with Anna Maxwell, married to Chris, whom the Maxwell's refer to as Anna Marie.) I am looking forward to your riveting post about what a "blessing" you are to your family, cooking, cleaning, and serving the Elderly. I can't wait to find out how you take your coffee! I hope you will have a wonderful year, sing, dance, travel! (Who am I kidding.) P.S. I'm pretty sure she is 23 this year. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. Paul Arndt had an awesome 34th birthday!

Or so says Daddy I'm very sure it was fascinating and unique. How many men on the cusp of middle age can say they had a "wonderful birthday experience" singing and dancing in Mommy and Daddy's bedroom and then embarking on an "adventure" that consisted of lunch at a burger joint with his parents and siblings?
  10. I can only imagine what Mary-Elizabeth dreams of when imagining her future. She has limited outside of the family experiences, she sees all of her older siblings not getting married, not starting families of their own or moving out of the family home. Even if the rest of the family tells her that one day her prince charming will come and sweep her off her feet, how can she believe it when there are no examples of it at home. Just wondering.
  11. Happy 20th Birthday Nathan Arndt

Enjoy your cake in your parents' bedroom! The Arndt's now have only 3 teenagers and one tween at home.
  12. Happy Birthday Smugger

Has it been posted yet? The today show told me it was smuggers birthday. He's the big 27. He's accomplished so much in his 27 years on earth. Happy birthday Smugger.
  13. Happy Birthday Sarah Maxwell!

Anyone else find it kinda sad that she posted her own Happy Birthday message? I'm sure it has most likely happened before, or with other kids posting their own birthday wishes. You would figure 'Post Sarah's birthday message on blog' would be on the schedule for someone other than her.
  14. Joseph's Birthday

It's Joseph's birthday today, and in true Duggar fashion, the only thing they can compliment is his love for Jesus. "Today, we are celebrating a very special young man's birthday! Joe's tender heart, overflowing with such compassion & hope is merely a reflection of his first & most important relationship with Jesus! We are so thankful for you! Happy Birthday, Joseph!" Happy Birthday, Joseph...run!
  15. Don't know if it's posted yet, but just read that today is Jana and John David 25th birthday. Wonder how they're celebrating.
  16. John Maxwell's 24th birthday today

New post is up. John is "outgoing, spontaneous, generous, creative, confident, adventuresome." But but but - how does he take his coffee?????
  17. It's on the 30th. Hope they got to do what they wanted.
  18. Jordyn's Birthday

I saw this today and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that they actually appeared to acknowledge Jordyn's sixth birthday separate from Josie's fifth birthday. I also can't believe how outraged the author is about a six year old choosing to get her ears pierced.
  19. Happy birthday Jinger! Lefthanded, artsy, photography, coffee, big city. You are 21 now, a legal adult in every state. I hope she can do whatever SHE wants.
  20. Josies B-day.

http://www.people.com/article/josie-dug ... day-photos And that other kid was there also.
  21. Jubilee's Birthday

Did you know today is Jubilee's 3rd birthday? I thought Jubilee was miscarried. Since when does a miscarried fetus have a birthday? She was never even born.
  22. Actor Norman Lloyd turns 100 years old today! Some of you may know him best from Dead Poet's Society where he played the headmaster of Welton, Mr Nolan. Those of us who are older may know him as Dr Auschlander from St Elsewhere. He was one of the original Mercury Players and played the role of Fry in Alfred Hitchcock's Saboteur. TCM has been having a birthday salute to him this afternoon. It's over for those of us in the Eastern US, but you guys in the West can still catch part of it. It should be available on Watch TCM, too. Norman's wife, actress Peggy Craven, died three years ago at the age of 98. They had been married for 75 years. Btw, Norman still plays tennis twice a week. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Lloyd
  23. Wonder what they'll do today to celebrate?
  24. Happy Birthday Anna Maxwell!
