  1. Last thread here: News on the block is that Ben and Jessa now own Grandma Mary's house. What they'll do with that ownership is anyone's guess.
  2. Continued from here: Jessa seems to love the Gaines family.
  3. It's pretty in vogue for fundie families who grew up Baptist to transition into Calvinism. I've seen it a million times and I really don't understand what makes it so cool as it makes no sense. I guess it appeals to elitism. Jessa grew up Gothard/IFB now she and Ben will be "reformed". She's pretty lucky, she gets to side hug with a cool reformed guy. Enjoy? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pBfrmX-9Jd0
  4. Last thread here: One of the few times (when I've done a thread, at least) that the title has absolutely nothing to do with the fundies we're supposedly talking about . Using the Seewald thread to talk about Catholicism and weird cake sounds like a fine plan to me! Jessa's got a speaking engagement coming up in June, I'm assuming Ben is still working for Jim Bob, and Spurgeon and Henry are a cute toddler and baby. I haven't been on FJ in a week, so I'm sure I've missed something, but here's another thread about the Seewalds.
  5. Last thread here: Jessa and Ben (along with some family and friends) went to visit Jinger and Jeremy in TX. Travels to Waco ensued, because they love Chip and Joanna Gaines, I guess? Spurgeon and Henry look cute in pictures, Jessa's speaking engagement is still on, and Ben is...still working for Jim Bob, I presume. Until the next Instagram post...
  6. Previous thread here: In Seewald news: Jessa got a speaking engagement to have lunch and tell other women how to be fashionably modest. The conference also kindly remembered the men in this scenario and are banning them and infants/children younger than 9, because we can't have men or children scared by Knees!: The Horror Movie. Spurgeon is sporting some awesome curls, and Henry makes funny faces on Instagram. Other than that, everything seems to be the same old, same old in Seewaldville.
  7. Previous thread found here: The baby's name is now known: Henry Wilberforce Seewald http://www.theseewaldfamily.com/2017/2/baby-boy-s-new-name Glad his name isn't as...unique...as his older brother's. Maybe Ben and Jessa got some sense?
  8. Previous thread here: Y'all this has got to be some kind of record! 4 days and another new thread. Ben and Jessa still have not picked Baby Boy 2's name, but let's all hope it's not terrible. List of FJ Baby Boy Name Guesses Below:
  9. Last thread here: Title courtesy of @Buzzard! Seewald #2 is here, and Ben and Jessa are on their way to a Seewald football team, with their second boy. No name yet, but if Spurgeon is any indication, it should be spectacular. People Mag article here: http://people.com/tv/jessa-duggar-seewald-welcomes-baby-no-2/ Guess List Below:
  10. Last thread here: Seewald #2 is still not here, as far as we know. Baby pool, courtesy of @VixenToast and @Carm_88, is below: May Spurgeon's sibling finally make an appearance in this thread! As of 2/6, the baby is here! http://people.com/tv/jessa-duggar-seewald-welcomes-baby-no-2/
  11. Continued from here: Ben and Jessa Seewald are expecting their second child, and, this summer, Ben is going to be sharing whatever wisdom he has at a conference where Voddie Baucham's speaking. The dubious possibility of twins has been raised again on TLC. In other words, water is wet, the pope is Catholic, and Duggars keep counting on!
  12. Carry on from here: As for the threat title, I present the atrocity that Canada inflicted upon us:
  13. Carry on from here: Last post from previous thread, by @VelociRapture
  14. Jessa and Ben are expecting, again! Continuing on from here:
  15. Ugh, I can't figure out how to link. Has anyone seen Jessa and Ben's latest Facebook video? On evangelism and chick tracts and Jingers testimony. On the whole, at least they aren't as awkward as Pecan and Silly.
  16. Any interesting debate started on Guinn's public page today regarding her stance on trans bathrooms (the argument made it over to Pickles, and you can see it here). https://www.facebook.com/Duggar-Family-News-Life-is-not-all-pickles-and-hairspray-269181913180625/?fref=ts But, the liberal Duggar friend, Krista, responded this way, which I found interesting: I'd like to point out that I don't believe individuals fear trans people using a bathroom, they fear sexual violence. And, in order to move forward, we really need to identify this fear. Also, would you want someone who looks like Cait Jenner in a men's room? If we're truly afraid of individuals being sexually hurt, Cait is at a much larger risk than ANY OTHER POPULATION for being assaulted if she was to use a men's restroom. Also, what bathroom are individuals who are intersex (born biologically both male and female) to do? I understand your fears, friends. I understand how scary it is that America is moving away from traditional values. I understand how frustrating and scary and confusing it is to wonder, "What would Jesus want? What does Jesus do?" In all of this, whether you support trans bathrooms or not, we ALL MUST ASK OURSELVES, "Is what I'm about to say/write going to push readers closer to desiring God? Seeking redemption and draw me close to my creator? Is it kind YET truthful and defending righteousness?" If you had to question yourself, don't post it. I know Michelle made the news for doing a campaign to keep trans out of women's bathrooms. And then we all know Josh came out as a child molestor, and the Seewalds scolded him, so I'm just surprised the Seewalds commented on this. Thoughts?
  17. What's next for the Seewalds? Only Jeebus knows for sure! Continuing from:
  18. Part 8 is here: Thread title is courtesy of @Buzzard, who I can't seem to tag right now (boo!) There haha! For those unaware, no Duggar started a courtship, got pregnant, adopted, or had anything life-changing, other than suddenly all the Duggar kids want to adopt children out of nowhere. Most forgettable episode yet. May it be the last.
  19. Part 7 is here: From TLC, the people who are masters at reusing old footage when their show has become too boring, comes new heights of ridiculousness. They have stooped so low as to reuse footage from only 3-4 months ago, and to once again use a family's pain for ratings. Supposedly, there's some life-changing announcement this next week, but unless it's that they're going to use all-original footage in the season finale, or that all the adult children are going to form a commune and become flower children, I will not be surprised.
  20. Well, Ben showed something all right, but it wasn't any rapping abilities that I could see. Also featured in the episode and the previous thread: Ben thinks he is a white savior for the inner city (he's really, really not). Even Jessa couldn't keep from laughing at Ben's terrible rapping. Flame can't take negative comments, and aside from Anna, Ben and Jessa, no interviewed Duggar could say what hip-hop or rap even was. We needed to see yet another video chat between Jill and the rest of the family. Next week: the girls' getaway that gets awkward because of Josh (even though he isn't there). Also, possibility of blind dates? This can only go well. And we begin to count on...another awkward and cringeworthy episode.
