Indian Mandala's 2 & 3

I really love this one for some reason.  I am pleased with how it turned out.  Gel ink with colored pencil on the background (the mustard yellow and the light shading in the background in the center areas).   The colored pencil with gels on things like this helps me avoid streaky looking work on the larger areas so thank you FJ for the education.  (before you move on, note the amount of green (and yellow) before looking at the next one).

I challenged myself in the mandala below to not use green.  Greens are a go to for me.  It has moved back up to my favorite color.  (Actually I specifically have a 'thing' about green and purple together).  I would have preferred no yellow/orange but at one point the flowers hidden toward the center kind of called for it.  if I were to make one change it would be to do them in the blue/pink/purple of the rest of this).  Gel pens with the larger areas in colored pencil.  (background, large flowers and the wing/leaf things in the center areas that are not all detail - so the light blue and light pink on those).

Green and purple are my favorite colors. The struggle is real.

I really like the one with the green and purple spiky leaves...it  looks great and all of the colors set each other off beautifully.  All the colors in that design are really working and it's very pretty.

I like both of them.   I used to not really hate green, but it wasn't a color I would pick for things if I had a choice of others.   The last few years I've really taken to green.

I think I like the second one the better of the 2.

That makes 5 new Mortons in 2024, by my count, and the year is young...

Does anyone know if Rachel had her baby? Kressant posted an IG story recently with a baby, but didn't say whose.

Tight pants for men have been popular for a few years now. It confounds me. If I want to see your dick, I'll let you know. Otherwise, put it away, kthxbye.

It’s like people working for Trump complaining when he acts like Trump. 😂

Wouldn’t it be nice if she actually told her readers how this works in her house

Well, she didn’t say each child gets to do all the activities. They could all be in church groups and home school co-op (no individual activities, so easy to coordinate), music lessons could well be with a teacher coming into their home, then one kid doing a sport, one kid in choir, “social events” could be anything that only happens once a year - and voilà, she wouldn’t have technically lied in her post, but makes it sound a lot more than it actually is for each individual child.

Jeremy's pants are defrauding me, and not in a good way.
