Why can't people just obey?

How many times do I have to say if you want it backed up store it on the server?  When I make proper storage to the server your default save path and you go out of your way to store it to the desktop...when I have a signed user agreement that I only backup server stored documents and you understand what that means and have assumed the risk of documents you stored rogue...

A lot.  A lot is the number of times I have to say that.

But I'm off to the freezer with my paper towels, ziplock bag, and lucky mojo to sata slave your data back so you can store it somewhere stupid again.

You're welcome.  I hate people.

Edited because pics of kitties should be cute and not kind of sad.

I can't even get people on my own org chart to yield to my will... I have no chance with a bunch of smart women with opinions and all.  :)

and even if I made a play for world domination you'd be exempt from my Machiavellian reign for the small price of some homemade ciabatta bread.

That makes 5 new Mortons in 2024, by my count, and the year is young...

Does anyone know if Rachel had her baby? Kressant posted an IG story recently with a baby, but didn't say whose.

Pretty sure it was the friends baby. She had posted about taking stuff to her.

Also "you weren't ready to have that baby" has a much more awful failure state than "you weren't ready to start a garden". Plants dying from dehydration are kind of sad but it's nothing compared to having your baby die of sepsis because you didn't have the attention span to check and change their diaper regularly.

I would think having already experienced a uterine rupture, and IIRC this was with Freddy and about 3 weeks before his due date, Jill is in a higher than average risk for untoward events and likely is on a very individualized OBGYN plan. Navigating a pregnancy and safe birth after having had a previous uterine rupture and never having had a vaginal delivery has to make Jill’s care quite unique. I hope she utilizes high risk maternal/fetal practitioners.

Everyone is different and it’s her choice of course, but for me only the very crunchy and fundie would even consider a vbac after her horror births.
It’s so sad that her only chance so far for a natural birth has been her angel baby girl.
But for  me, if I was Jill any full term babe would be c section signed up on conception.

3 are married to Helferichs and 2 are married to Bowers.  If that doesn't scream arranged, I don't know what does.
