I'm Sorry, I Can't Call Him That

Sorry folks.  I'm having trouble calling President Loudmouth by 45.  I just can't.  45 reminds me of a song by Shindown.  And I don't want to ruin the reference to 45 in my mind.

After all there are so many other good things to refer to him by.  Such as Shit Gibbon, Agent Orange, Agent Fornicate Face, Orange of Stupid, Agent Ferret Face, Herr Orange, der Trumpenfuehrer, the Orange Toxic Megacolon, Tangerine Toddler, and so on.

i can't call him by name either (Tiny-Fingered ShitGibbon is my favorite, but i use Orange Monster the most).  i have a hard time reading my local newspaper because i can't stand to look at his stupid smug grin; i've taken to putting post-its over his photos.  he's the only person i've ever truly wanted to punch.

i once got immature and drew devil horns on Ivanka....made me feel better.

I can't use "President" and his last name in the same sentence. Also, I can't look at him (television usually) and listen to him at the same time. If I want to hear what he said (ugh), I have to look at something else.

I finally get how people can hang on to political grudges (for lack of a better term) for their whole lives. When people would get violently animated about Nixon 30 years after Watergate, it seemed a little excessive. Now I understand.

I had a hard time watching the apprentice because I didn't like him before he went all political.  He's loud.  He yells.

Hannity is another one that yells and talks over people all the time that I can't watch or listen to either.  It's not the politics - it's the level of self-centered rude.

I have a really hard time looking at him or any member of his family for that matter.  In fact, my son is taking trumpet lessons and I have a post-it note on my desk at work to remind me of his weekly lesson that says "Trumpet Wed. 6:30" and this triggers me EVERY SINGLE DAY!

A cornet is not quite the same as a *****et, but it's very similar.  You could change the post-it to say Cornet, Wed 6:30 or Flugelhorn, Wed 6:30 or Bugle, Wed 6:30  or Horn, Wed 6:30 or even *****et, Wed 6:30.

Frequently, people who play brass instruments just refer to their instruments as "the Horn" anyway.

I'm not over it.  I'll never be over it. I'm mainly talking about Orange Shit Stain, but Nixon, George Wallace.. oh the list goes on.  I must not be a very nice person.

Yeah when we play euchre we have trump cards, and of course I think of the Orange Shithead right away.  Ugh.

I wish we could come up with another term instead of trump.  At the rate the Giant Orange Tapeworm of Destruction is going, it might soon be better to start calling the high cards Hitler instead of trump.

Alatheia is 14 in March. I imagine she's quite a sister-mom at this point, poor thing.

Bradley peaked in the 80's. I think because of Brad Pitt, born in 1963, and Brad from Fast Times at Ridgemont High (released 1982, Brad was a senior, that makes him born in 1964), I think of Brad as a 60's name.

I'm still bothered that they used Grace twice for a middle name.

Now I'm even more bothered by it since I now know Hannah means grace.

Thank you, and no it’s not better at all. But I have hope it will be one day and I would choose this over what I endured for too long every day and twice on Sunday. My advice to others now is to never do what I did and get out immediately. But fundie religion teaches you to ignore your gut instincts and to forgive at all costs, even when the cost is you.

I am genuinely sorry to hear that. I just cannot understand that line of teaching and I'm glad to see people rejecting it when it makes no sense. Not that the alternative is simple (as you say).
