Rally Mantis and Music Loveing Kittens

Okay - I am not a baseball fan.  But the ongoing story of Rally Mantis - a praying mantis rescued from the trash by a KC Royals player in the dugout a week or so ago that is now a good luck charm/mascot of sorts is amusing me.  Rally Mantis is now going on the road with the Royals.  Yay Rally Mantis.

And yes - I think Praying Mantis are interesting.  To this day I feel bad for not pulling over one day and helping one off my car window.  The poor thing stayed on my window for a 10 minute trip at 65 to 70 mph for most of that trip.  I saw its struggle.  It made me feel awful and I have to live with that memory.

Now to cats.  A Malaysian singer/guitarist was ignored by everyone - but a group of kittens.  Someone recorded this.

As a Royals fan, I have to say that the rally mantis masks some fans wore last night kind of creeped me out. But if having an insect in the dugout helps them keep winning in some bizarre way, then I'm all for it. This year has been a roller coaster with a tiny little good runs followed by injury after injury creating losing streaks.

Is it cynical of me to wonder if the busker had tuna or some other yummy treat?:my_biggrin:

I was just popping in to ask if you had seen Rally Mantis Jr.

Baseball players are all insane.

There's a picture that floats around of Lauren Swanson and Kendra Caldwell on a mission trip together with their families and some of the Duggars when the girls were around 12.

IIRC even Ben Seewald's parents have been proven to have known Jim Bob for around two decades prior.

I saw on Reddit that Joe and Kendra are not invited though.

Also, kudo's to them for doing a childfree wedding (except for their direct nieces/nephews)

Nathan and Nurie will probably stay with N for both girls and boys, since it is the first letter of both their names.

Don’t they home church? If so they’d, what, line up in the front yard then go back into their own house?

The fundies with one letter for boys and one for girls are only 3 families I can think of off the top of my head.

      The Pecans

      The Holts

      The Swansons

      Are there any others?

Are the johnson family considered fundie??  https://www.facebook.com/chad.johnson.5036

Chad and Jenise Johnson had 11 children: Kathryn, Kyla, Kelsey, Karaline, Kimberly, Kloe, Kinsey and Kordelia for  girls.... Chadwick Baylor, Christian Barrington and  C... Bentley for boys but they used middle names..
