Painting is Finished! (Photos)

It's done!! Oh friends we are so happy it's done! It looks fantastic! Our new wall tree came too and we got it put up and our coats on it. Now just waiting for the floor to acclimate and we'll get it down probably next week. We do have a few more things to hang in the front room, some photos and the Jolly Roger flag over a window as well as a ships wheel and some nautical themed lights.

Day 1 of painting is done (photos)

Wow. It was a long day for sure as we had to take a break for the minions to get their flu shots but we finished one wall! I think it looks fabulous and am sharing a photo of it so far. We have a hall tree that will go next to the tv on the other side. It will hold all the shoes and hats and gloves and coats. Unfortunately it's not white but I hope it will look fine in the color it is because I do not want to paint it also lol.    Tomorrow we are doing the wall that has our grandfather cloc

House Redo is a Go

We closed on our house and today we ordered our flooring and got our paint colors picked and bought. We are getting the walls painted tomorrow and the next day and will be doing the floor next week (It has to acclimate to our home and the air has to get to it for about 5 days before installing it. The fundie neighbors have moved

I had made a post about my passive aggressive fundie neighbors. I was awoken at 1 am to the sound of a truck backing up. You know those beep beep beep things? There was a Uhaul sitting in the neighbors drive. I watched as they started bringing shit out. I admit I fell asleep because it was boring and it was early am.       Wishing I had a dollar for every time I burped on my back porch after dark and set off a neighbor's dog. The best part is that I'm sure everyone think it's my BF and not me, because it's surely not possible such a huge noise could come out of my body.
