Vet Visit no. 2

Took the wee one in to see about treatment for either worms or possible blockage.  He was a little trooper and got snuggled in the waiting room.  He weighed in at 7.5 oz.  Doc took his temperature (not a happy kitty) and told me he's still too tiny and too underdeveloped to handle any kind of vaccination or medicine.  He didn't give him an enema for similar reasons:  too small, too much of a risk of causing the opposite effect and dehydrating him again.  Doc did take a look at the ick that was o

Velvet Thor

Made his vet appointment! Basic shots & his little fuzzies are going bye bye at the beginning of February. In the meantime he's tromping all over everything in the house & being super slut kitten when we go to bed. Lots of head boops & wet nose kisses. And he really loves his daddy's chair!

Twelfthnight Thor

He's not a jellybean anymore!!!!!  He is awfully handsome in bow ties though. All the fancy kitties wear them on new years.  He passed out in our bed the other morning... with his tongue sticking out looking all cute.

Toothless Thor Winchester

Introducing...... I got to looking at his little round face & the way hid little ears stick up.... he reminds me of Toothless the dragon from How to Train Your Dragon. We have him, Toothless Thor Winchester, Madame Princess Fluffypants, and... Texi.  (Yes I'm a Supernatural junkie) I had to go back and brighten every photo because he's just pitch black except for his white patch on his chest. He's outgrowing his bunny. A whopping 4.5 oz!

Thunderball Thor

There's just enough space on the TV stand for his chubby butt to sit and help us watch.  He loves shoving his face in the way if we're captured by our tiny light boxes, we don't need those anyway, we have a kitty.  The big light box is too large to push over so he decides to get in on the action so we're appropriately paying attention to him too! Thorston

Sometimes the authorities leave their thrones for us kitties to keep warms for dems. Those thrones have their shcmells & are very good for cradling sleepy kitties. That dog thing can't get into them, so I knows they're extra good.  I been singing my songs for dems at nighttime. I know my mommy misses me when I'm not in her sleepy spot wif her. She even answers me wif a "shhhh" hissy noise. Hoomans forgot how to purr.  I think I'm going to play wif my nippy mouse.    -T. T

Thorsgiving

Holidays closed in along with the anticipation of finals & midterms. Thor's hair loss has slowed down but he's still got thin patches. He's been on a rip (literally) since the temps have dropped. So. He's adorable. Aaaannnddd he's a total slut.  He really enjoyed Little Hooman's origami paper. She'd made these cute boxes & he felt the need to relieve her of one of them.  She's wasn't happy about it, but it was hilarious to watch the struggle!

Thorsday Kitten pics!

He's a big, long, sleek pain in the butt. But he's so worth it. He wants to sleep with us at night but he doesn't settle down immediately. There has to be walking all over us & ultimately walking on any furniture knocking things about. So the routine has begun: go to bed, shut the door. Hear pathetic little mewmew & scratches. Thorsday came early

As per request, there is a new baby muffin video up.  I tore my director away from her *very important anime* and made her take kitten video!  (am I the only one who likes torturing teenagers?) Vet visit first thing in the morning.  He's doing well, eating, playing, and walking around but he's constipated again.  I don't want to keep home remedy-ing him at risk of making him sick.  He's so close to four full weeks anyway I want to see if he can get a preliminary shot or two or at least some

Thorsday Activities!

I figured out how to brighten the video in YouTube!  I'm learning!   It's still a bit dark but you can see his climbing abilities.  He's finally getting the concept of lapping, not sucking, at the milk.  Hopefully we'll have a mostly weaned kitten by the time Little Hooman and I start back to school in a week or two.  He runs. He jumps. He climbs. He bitches at me when I don't pick him up in the kitchen!  He's a fuzzy little love bug that lets me rock him to sleep.  Yesterday's weight:  15.

Thor's Potential Mama

I was cleaning out my phone the other day and found pics of the kitty we think may be Thor & Co.'s mother.  She was a wild looking little doll baby when we got her.  My friend found her in the engine compartment of her neighbors car and brought her to the office.  After a day of phone calls and research, no shelter in town would take yet another female kitten.  Thankfully she was several weeks old and weaned so we were able to feed her and tend to her.  She had several marks on her and her l

Thor, the Chubby Theif

He's so cute when he's chubby!!! He gets all comfy by the bowl and grubs, it's kind of hilarious.  When he gets a belly it is usually followed by a growth spurt and he  leans out and gets all sleek.  He's taken to stealing Little Hoomans things from her room.  He used to go after the obvious small toys or things that cats just tend to like, I find her EOS ball all over the house.  These days he's far more ambitious, having started with her stuffed dog several weeks back.  She has a little rug in

Thor, Christmas Helper

He's the most helpful helper who ever helped! He inspected the Amazon box & contents for danger, he kept me company while I worked. He's a very curious kitty. I mean it's entirely possible that I was cutting cheese on the walking around on thing, he had to be ready in case a piece fell.  Thank you @EowynW for the gift idea! Thor, a little less manly

I checked him out good this morning, he's healing like a pro on the outside. I was still trying to keep him mellow but he's an active baby. He slept all night under the covers with me, woke up around 5 am to lay on my face.  He's a sweet one. Last night he was curled up with the old man & today he's happy on Little Hoomans soft Binky.  He seems to have some alopecia going on, probably a flea allergy. He's been dosed & scrubbed so we're just waiting for his fur to thicken back u

However you call it:  Easter, Ostara, Resurrection Weekend, Extra Day off Work, enjoy it! Thor kitty has been stalking the roommates all day & being snuggle kitty at night. We've got windows open, fresh air blowing in, little bit of cleaning happening. A few days ago Thor passed out asleep in Texi's fur.... they stayed like that for quite a while, content in the sunbeam. Thor's currently helping me with my beer situation. Thor vs. the Fan
