Travel Coloring

I'm on a trip right now and I didn't have room to pack my coloring supplies. During my phone session with my therapist, she told me I needed to get to the store and purchase some. I found this kit at Target, and I have to share with you all!  One side has 50 illustrated cards to color, and the other side has 10 colored pencils.

Quidditch Pitch Cross Stitch

Not coloring, but here's a project I've been working one I got the pattern off of etsy. I decided I wanted to make a fancy pillow for my friend's birthday, but this is taking many many more hours than I thought it would which makes me wanna keep it, lol. Ill probably make a second one for myself. Mostly done. How do I rotate the image?

Curious Creatures go Camping

I finished this one last week and it took me ages to get done as my hands have been really sore the last wee while. I used Winsor and Newton ProMarkers for all of it. @Playagirl done this picture a while ago as well, here is the link to the blog entry http://www.freejinger.org/blogs/entry/1430-curious-camping/.  I enjoy seeing how others do the same page and how different or similar they all are.

Fancy hats and vase of flowers

I usually go with neon colors but thought I'd do some pencil only pages with more pastel colors.  I enjoyed doing these I just ordered the pampered pets book from amazon, can't wait to get it!

Color Like An Egyptian

Here's the first, (and  most likely, last), page from my new book Art Deco Egyptian Designs. I like the designs, but there is way too much pre-printed black & grey space on them for my taste.  Many of the pages have quite small and intricate spaces as well. It was hard on  my eyes to color this design. I'm going back to my Pampered Pets book and looking forward to choosing my first page from Dazzling Dogs after slogging through this Egyptian page.  Used Copics, Prismacolor, and Winsor &

Finally got my new markers

The day I ordered from W&N apparently no orders went through. But, in the end, they reimbursed my shipping charges and I was finally 'blessed to be able to' finish this page.  I like that it's not leaves.

Pampered Pets, The Kitty Cats and Teddy Bear

I really enjoyed colouring this one in and it is one of my favourite pictures out of all I have done. I used Winsor and Newton ProMarkers, I love these markers! I need to try and stop doing the cats orange, I am doing it without thinking sometimes as my cat Alfie is ginger. Hope you like it.

Groovy cat and some flowers

I smudged the blue into the pink by mistake at the whiskers, so just did the same to the other one lol. I used only crayola twistables on the flowers. They are easy to use, no sharpener needed

Let's Go Fly A Kite

This is from the Creative Haven Owl book. I got the fly a kite song stuck in my head while I was colouring another picture and remembered seeing this pic in the Owl book. I used Winsor and Newton ProMarkers for all of it, can't remember all the individual colours I used but it was quite a few different ones!

Cosmetics and Stuff

This was fun to color. I wish some of the shades showed up more accurately. The orange on the soap pump is true matte orange. Most of the rest of the "orange" is actually more gold with shimmer. If I could go back I would have done some things differently, but oh well. Also, I'm obsessed with Sakura pens! Thanks to @FundieFarmer, for recommending them a few threads back in the Specularium.

Magical Mandala 7 - Mmmm Chocolate

I did have a name for this mandala with the colour in the title like my other ones but once I finished the pic it looked like a rather posh chocolate bar hence the name change. Used Winsor & Newton ProMarkers as usual and the colours I used are on the page.

I was pleased to find this page in my new coloring book, Home Is Where the Heart Is, by Steve Duffendack. As a Pacific Northwest native, I can appreciate this page. I am loving his books!  I used a few different sets of Sakura Gelly Roll pens.

Clowder of Gardening Cats

This clowder of cats in gardening mode is from Pampered Pets. It is unedited except for the usual cropping, and adjustments to exposure/saturation/white balance/sharpening to the overall pic to make it match the original page. Markers used: Prismacolor Spanish Orange, Parma Violet, Goldenrod, Sienna Brown, Emerald, Pale Vermillion, Scarlet Lake, Crimson Red, Canary Yellow, Pink, Jet Black, Cool Grey 50%, Cool Grey 90%. Hot Air Balloon Ride with Pampered Pets

My first page from the Pampered Pets book, this pic is dedicated to @OnceUponATime who found the book on Amazon for me when I couldn't find it. I started using my Staedtler fineliners for the yellow and red bits on the big hot air balloon, I decided I didn't like that bit of my picture and changed over to my Winsor & Newton ProMarkers for the rest of it. Thanks to @Tikobaby for her amazing pictures that led me to buy this wonderful book, I love it.

More Flowers

I think this is one of my favorites I've posted so far. It was so fun to color, and I don't regret any of my color choices. It's embarrassing how much I stress over what colors to choose for different parts!  This is from Home Away From Home . I used five different sets of Sakura pens; the Moonlight , the Stardust Meteor , the Metallic Gel, the Glaze, and the Souffle. It was fun to mix it up, and I like how it turned out.

Magical Mandala 6 - Don't be mean, be Green!

This is one of my favourite mandalas that I've done so far. I'm finding them really relaxing to colour and I'm not stressing out about colour choice like I do with some of my other pictures. All the same colour group mandalas are done (still got 2 to post) and I am planning on doing  neon and metallic ones sometime in the next few day's then I am taking a break from mandalas to work on my new book, Pampered Pets, though I have nearly finished my first page already!

Here's my latest completed page from the Pampered Pets book.  This is unedited except for cropping and adjusting exposure/saturation/temp. for the overall photo so it matches the original page. Prismacolor Premier brush tip marker colors are:  Spanish Orange, Parma Violet, Emerald, Canary Yellow, Goldenrod, Sienna Brown, True Blue, Pink.  Copic Sketch marker colors are: Lipstick Red, Lettuce Green, Yellowish-Green, Chrome Orange, Baby Blue, Lightning Yellow. Winsor & Newton ProMarker colors

I love this new book, 'The World of Favourite Poems' by Jane Heyes.  (Is anyone else getting bored with their books?  I have so many and yet I can't find pictures I want to colour!) (Such problems I have.)

Mystic Mandala 15

The background is colored in a light gray that doesn't necessarily show well.  I actually had a thought of what I could have done with this after I had started on all those danged little circles.  But I'm putting that in the back of my mind in case I ever find something similar.   CraZ Art colored pencils.

      Wishing I had a dollar for every time I burped on my back porch after dark and set off a neighbor's dog. The best part is that I'm sure everyone think it's my BF and not me, because it's surely not possible such a huge noise could come out of my body.
